Chaire Max Bastin

La chaire Max Bastin de l’Université Catholique de Louvain-La-Neuve a été créée en 2002 dans le but d'apporter une contribution significative à l'étude des questions sociales, du travail et de la sécurité sociale. La chaire est localisée à l'Institut des sciences du travail parce qu'il constitue un lieu de rencontre des chercheurs des différentes disciplines dont l'apport est attendu pour poursuivre cet objectif. Les premières activités de la Chaire ont trait à la coordination de recherches entre différents partenaires (IST, Fondation Travail-Université, autres universités), à des interventions dans les milieux scientifiques, sociaux et politiques, à la contribution à des publications.

The “Chaire Max Bastin” of the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve was created in 2002 and has for aim to bring a significant contribution to the study of the social questions, work and social security. The Chaire is localised at the “Institute of sciences of work “because it constitutes a place of meeting of the researchers of the various disciplines whose contribution is awaited to pursue this goal. The first activities of the Chaire Max Bastin are the coordination of research between various partners (STI, Fondation Work-University, other universities), with interventions in the scientific, social and political circles, with the contribution to publications.
